The Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (JSUBEB) has scheduled the J-TEACH Batch C CBT Examination 2026, bringing the next stage of the recruitment process closer for thousands of applicants in the state. Candidates who applied for the J-TEACH programme are now expected to get ready for the computer-based test and print their examination slips ahead of the scheduled date.

The official notice from the Board states that the examination will start on Thursday, April 2, 2026 and end on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Since the assessment will take place in batches, every applicant is to check their examination slips for the proper date, time and venue.

J-TEACH Batch C CBT Exam Date 2026

The Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board has fixed the J-TEACH Batch C CBT Examination to take place in four days:

  • Thursday, 2nd of April, 2026
  • Friday, 3rd April 2026
  • Saturday 4, April 2026
  • Sunday, 5th of April, 2026

By implication, candidates are not expected to write their examination on the same day. Instead, dates and times have been assigned to each applicant.

It is for this reason that one should careful check their exam slips before heading to the centre. If you come on the wrong date or outside your approved time, you may be denied entry.

J-TEACH Exam Slip Printing Starts 31st March 2026

Candidates can begin printing their examination slips from Tuesday, 31st March 2026.

Important Instructions for All J-TEACH Candidates

The Board issues guidelines that must be observed in all circumstances by all applicants.

Attend Only on your Assigned Date

Assigned Date Candidates must appear at the examination venue only on dates and times indicated on their slips; Do not arrive at the centre early and never write the exam on another candidate’s date. Candidates are therefore required to report to the examination venue only on the date and at the time indicated in their slip, not to appear earlier than scheduled and not to attempt to write the exam on another candidate’s date.

Come with NIN Slip or NIN All

candidates are to come with their NIN slip or NIN number for verification. This, in turn, will be used to verify the identity of each candidate before entering the CBT hall. Failure to present your NIN details may affect your screening and participation.

Verify Your Details Before The Exam

Check all the details on your slip carefully before leaving for the venue. These important details include; The full name; Number of application Examination date Time Venue; The NIN information. If a candidate gets some information wrong, they should clarify it through the recruitment support channels as soon as possible.

Get to the Venue Early

Candidates are advised to arrive at least 30 to 60 minutes earlier than the approved date, although no one is supposed to appear before his/her allotted time. This helps him undergo the verification process and relax before writing the exam.
